Training Class Confirmation
Thank you for registering for our LonWorks technology training course. The following FAQ’s will assist you in ensuring a quality learning experience.

What to bring?

We prefer that students bring their own WIFI enabled Windows 7, Vista, or XP laptop, that includes the following Echelon software:

LonMaker Integration Tool

LonScanner Protocol Analyzer (free download available at) http://www.echelon.com/software-downloads?ele=153-0327-01A

If you don’t have a laptop PC or the Echelon network tools, please let our training coordinator colene@enerlon.com know ahead of time. We can provide a laptop for you that includes the network tools. If your laptop doesn’t have the network tools installed, we can install a demo version that has a limited license usage period.

When should I arrive?

Class will begin the first day at 0900. We can start earlier on subsequent days if agreed upon by the attendees.

Are meals provided?

We provide a continental breakfast each morning and lunch in the afternoon. A dining room is provided at our training facility. We also provide beverages and snacks throughout the day.

What to wear?
Casual clothes are fine including shorts, T-shirts, and tennis shoes.

Training schedule?

Training typically begins between 8-9AM and is wrapped up each day between 4-5PM. On Friday sessions, we typically finish the class around 1-2PM.

LonMark Certified Professional Exam? Greg Powell, your trainer is a certified proctor for the LCP exam.

Typically we schedule the LCP exam after the last class on Friday afternoon. It is recommended to schedule air travel for the following day.

Where to stay?

Our training coordinator can provide a list of local hotels close by the training facility upon request. colene@enerlon.com

Will there be homework?
Yes, there will be reading assignments from our featured textbook after each session. We also recommend that students review the training materials presented each day. A course book will be provided that includes copies of the Power Point slides that can be used to jot down notes, comments, and questions.

Where do I park?

Please Park behind the building along the ivy covered wall. Enerlon Suite#170 is facing the hillside.

If I can’t attend the course I registered for. Can someone else attend in my place?
Yes. Please let us know immediately that you can’t attend, and give the name of the person who will take your place.

I can’t attend the course I registered for. What’s your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel, you must notify us at least ten business days before the first day of class. Prepaid registration fees can be applied to future training dates.

What happens if Enerlon Training cancels a course?
If a class is cancelled, we’ll notify you 10 business days before the first day of class, and you’ll receive priority registration for the next offering of the class. Prepaid registration fees will be refunded 100%

Can I retake the class in the future? How much is the cost?

If you have previously taken an Enerlon training course, you can retake the same class again at no cost subject to space availability.
