The system should provide automatic tracking based on replies to interrogations, and the tracking information should be tied into tracking information from other sensors on the AEW platform, primarily to prevent multiple tracks on a single target. The system should have the capability to interrogate, display, and provide tracking information on targets at very close range, from the surface to 100,000 feet (30,500 m).
